Course Overview

Winding pickups is a useful skill and above all else, FUN! Students will learn techniques for winding their very own set of pickups, as well as skills that can be practiced and perfected to perform pickup repairs. Fixing a stock pickup is the best way in maintaining an instrument’s vintage value.

This course will also show you how to make an inexpensive pickup winder for home use, which is an absolute must for winding new pickups, performing repairs, and customization jobs.
